About Us

Maine Aim Ranch ~ Chuck, Karen, Erin, Cody, Madison & Drew McCullough.

Welcome to our Maine Aim Ranch site:
Chuck and Karen McCullough, and our four children, Erin, Cody, Madison, and Drew own and operate a ranch at Allerton, Iowa. We have always been involved in raising cattle and have a passion for raising high quality cattle, that will be producing for generations to come. We run a cattle operation consisting of 150 head. Forty of these are registered Maine Anjou cows.

We have a show calf sale in the fall. Check the sale page for more details. We sell cattle that we believe will make not only great show projects, but also be an asset to your breeding program.

However, due to circumstances
out of our control, we are unable to guarantee the fertility of these show heifers. Although we have selected top end heifers, over conditioning of show cattle, to be competitive, sometime causes problems with breeding. Another possible problem, is not having the exposer to a bull or the possibility of timing of AI bred heifers. These are just a few of the factors that bring us to be unable to guarantee a show heifer to breed.

We sell registered Maine bulls in the spring and sell these with a semen check and guarantee to be breeders at the time of transfer to the new owners.

In 2003 we started McCullough Fitting Clinics, in which we travel all over the United States teaching people how to clip, fit, and show cattle. We are glad to share the gifts that God has Blessed us with to teach others. Our clinics have been very successful and we love to see and hear how the students do at the shows. We also write the Cattle Chat article in the Livestock Plus Magazine. Through this we have made close friends all over the U.S. We also love to judge and enjoy sorting through cattle and sharing the knowledge God has given us through our cattle experiences. We look forward to meeting and working with you!

Do your best and let GOD do the rest!
